and it probably had only 2-3,000 miles on it because it was a show bike too boot. I cannot see spending more than the original full retail price even with modified exhaust, more sparkles, fancy paint job, and upgraded rims. The guy who wanted 30 grand probably still has it for that price and for that price, where is the chaffeur?

I think he was joking on the 30K price tag. That probably was more of a reflection of all the labor and paint work he put into it. I dont think it really was for sale. While he did trailer it in from California, the guy went on several day rides with us and he wasnt afraid to wack it open once in a while.
I still like it.

Are those called "wave rotors" on the front? Those, and the chromed wheels, really dress it up. 30 large or not, the guy's got a lot of time, effort and money tied up in that thing. It looks nice.

That's a whole lotta bling! I like the low-profile rear tire, too. I haven't seen that on a Valk before.

Nitro, you couldn't ride it with that low profile. It looks so low of a seat height that you being so tall, your knees would hit the handlebars while turning for sure. I betcha that bike draws a crowd for sure though, very eye-catching indeed!! I really like the rotors and chromed wheels-very sharp!

Cookie, you blew it. The distance from the foot pegs to handle bars would not change with low profile tire. I see no difference in this bike and those vintage cars one sees in "Car Shows". Cool to look at but wouldn't want one. He has definitely spent hours on this bike.

wouldn't with such a low seat height (not low profile tire) as it looks in the pics a taller rider's legs would be up higher when riding than with a taller seat height? Either way, very sharp bike.

Dunno with that - its stock frame, stock foot peg location, stock seat location.
--So many details on this bike I keep in mind for my own standard. Forks, triples, rear gear housing chrome and rear brake details. Mmmmm good. --The wave rotors, exhaust and mirrors are about the only things I dont like.

Don't see much that gets me going. Stock 98 or 99 seat?-not impressed A bar hopper , not a bike to be ridden and enjoyed. Just my opinion.
