TAZ:

Ya need to get a McIntosh.  Eliminate those problems with the PC.

MP

MP, I am thinking the same thing with a more expensive McIntosh vs. Windows and using Microsoft.  My desktop PC has a bug and should be easy to fix, but I get an error message that my video driver is not working with media player and I have everything working fine except I cannot burn CD's, play any CD's, or what my family really uses it for is my boy plays high end video games with CD's and this summer has been torture on him since he likes to play games on the PC.  I tried reinstalling the video drivers from NVidia's website and did research the past few months, and nothing works.  This all happened after about 1 month after I installed Kapersky Internet Security 2010 which is suppose to be very good at catching bugs if that is what caused the issue.  Something so simple to fix, yet so complicated ticks me off.

I have had several Macs, from the VERY first one.  Very few problems.  Very few virusus.

The new ones will also run the PC software, if needed. By the time you figure all that is included, they are only a little more expensive.

Computer discussion aside, which weekend works best for people likely to show up:
August 13-15
August 20-22
August 27-29

This is an excellent area to ride with lots of twisties and interesting stops along the way. Seriously consider making an appearance if possible!

top or bottom dates should be fine as of now. August 20-22nd is out for me.  Nitro, I don't work hopefully next Wednesday or Thursday (August 4th and 5th), so if nice out, I can meet you one of those 2 days probably in Mount Horeb somewhere for a day ride say 9-3 or 10-4.

NITRO, I already have taken off the 13th-15th for a different event, but I'd be happy to ride with you all again, my couple days in La Crosse was very good.  The other weekends are out for me.

The end of August would be good for me. But I was thinking about coming down for the day on August 7th to ride with ya. I can get down there by nine or so in the morning.

Not sure yet, want to go over it, change fluids, check splines and it needs to be cleaned up.

I just got a call from the one and only TAZ saying that a couple of guys from the Chicago area are in for the Troll Stroll. We'll get the date posted ASAP for everyone.

I believe so, yes. If I can't find someone to pick the wife up from the airport it will be cut shorter than I'd like. I'll keep you posted.

The weather looks really nice, too.

Troll Stroll/Mt. Horeb area,

Nitro and others, any word if anyone can make it next weekend or for me anyways, the last weekend in August? I wouldn't expect to have a huge turnout for 1-2 days of riding, but was just checking up since no new dates or postings from anyone if interested still?  Maybe by then I might have the I/S cleaned up some since riding back from work lately at night sure splatters the bugs all over so bad I can barely see thru the windshield right now.  Haven't washed or even cleaned the bike in nearly 3 months now and it sure looks pathetic.  Maybe finally with this nice cooler weather in the morning coming my way I might have the ambition to step outside and get er' done.

I don't know this firsthand, but maybe Valker can offer some advise/tips on getting it nice and sparkly again!  Grin Grin Grin
