Unfortunately I can never sell - I an giving my STealth to my kids today. Product liability is a real problem so when I do sell it it will be in parts.
I really can't loose money on the deal as is and I don't look forward to a million dollar suit. This is why forklift tines cost $3000 - $300 for the tines and $2700 for the liability insurance. Yes I also built forklift tines - once.

I understand your concern in this Litigious society we live in,  wouldn't happen in my case, but I see your point.  I don't care for the driving characteristics on a conventional trike, but kinda like the Can am ride, but it ain't no Valkyrie.  Mebee I can buy  wrecked IS and get a machinist to help me on the project.  Hint, Hint.  Hoser   Grin  Grin  Grin Hoser   Most likely just get a Can am when the time comes.  A beautiful job you did.

You know the Can-Am got me started on this whole set of projects as I liked the Can-Am but hated the engine and all the needless safety nonsense. I even considered finding one and sliding the ST11 or Valkyrie engine in there. I think the conversion may have been cheaper and easier.
BRP has a good idea they just need to figure out how not to be sued so they can dump the troublesome safety gizzmo's and how to do something engine-wise that does not run 6500 rpm at 70 and is not a Vtwin.
Perhaps like everything else it will just be time and competition that will improve upon the concept and implementation.

It looks really cool, definitely unique. Not many would have looked at that wrecked Valk and seen what you apparently did!

Sweeettt ride, awwweeeesommmme job!

I hear ya on the Can Am Spyder.  I talked to a guy who owns a Spyder and he said it is unique and fun to drive, but also hates the high revving engine that he says has no power, but I find that hard to believe personally although never drove one.  You now got the best of both worlds: unique and powerful/comfy cruiser.  Take this 3 wheeler instead of the hoh-humm goldwing and see what kind of attention you get now!

First off, thank you all for such great reviews. This Valkyrie bunch is really a decent and kind sort. I tend to raise havac on the GL18 sight a bit just because it's kinda fun but I have to say this group is really in tune to basic motorcycle operations and while small you are a super nice collection. I take no offense to negative criticism as everyone has there own opinion and likes / dislikes. I am actually surprised to receive all this positive praise. Again thank you all.
Two years ago when I did the STealth11 project I posted the results on the ST forum and talk about getting hammered! You would have thought I raped a nun! They couldn't believe I would have taken a perfectly good (crashed) ST1100 and bastardized it by triking it. That was a shocker so I kinda expected some of that here but to my surprise you folks did just the opposite. In reading the posts on maint and darksiding etc I find this group to have a good handle on how things work and should work, you guys (and gals) have the right mindset and its a pleasure to keep your company.

Again thank you all.

I couldn't agree more with all of the positive comments about your Valk3.

The engineering and craftsmanship are absolutely awesome.

What's awesome to me is the skill, ingenuity and understanding it took to put something like that together.  Whether I wanted to do that to a Valk or not, I would LOVE to be able to, and it seems like you did it in like three weeks!  You compliment this group with having a good handle "on how things work and should work"- I'd say you do pretty good yourself!!
