Hi,

I noticed that my left (when sitting on the bike) fork seals seams to be leaking.
How hard a job is this going to be?
What parts do I get/need?
Any step by step instruction out there?
Any quick easy ways to get-r-done?

Thanks

I'm doing it tomorrow.
I sure wish someone would have answered you so I know what I'm in for.
If nothing comes back here, I'll let you know what I went through.

Hi,

Too late. I did both of mine last weekend. Used Honda parts.

Took the forks off the bike (its a Interstate model) . Made a tool out of steel @ work to seat the seals and guides.
If you were close I would let you borrow it. Works good to have 2 people to put it back together. If it was not an interstate you could do it on the bike with it lifted I believe. There is a great video on youtube for cartridge style forks. really worth watching.

I'll have help, actually a Honda tech friend on his day off.
I help and learn at the same time.
Planning new bearings, so the forks will come off.
Glad it went well.
