My bike came with Kuryakyns that kind of just stuck out a little forward of the pegs.  I'll keep the K pegs but I'm interested in a) which new-type "stem" to buy to mount them on and b) where best to mount them.  I'm 6'2"

Just put on the Kury 4050's. They work very well for me, being vertically challenged at 5'9".
I would think those with simian appendages could benefit from engine guard mounted pegs. Or just sit on the pilon when riding.
Had a set on my guards and after riding a while with my feet on them I felt like I was on the rack, or maybe stirrups.

Engine guards are too far forward unless the setup is to bring the pegs back from there.  You still end up with your ankles getting cooked by the rear cylinder.  I'll ck out the 4050's.

I'll be catching up to you as I grow a bit older. Actually it may have started already-the top shelves in the cupboards are harder to get to every day!
I'm gonna get my wife to start marking my height on the door jamb I'll know in a year.

Is that kinda like what we did as kids, but in reverse?  I imagine the excitement probably isn't the same either....
