My Kaw mechanic offered to install my Toyo Proxes T1R tire and cut the nut cage for me.  I downloaded the instructions for both from the shop talk pages

My question is I am out of dust ring and thrust washer.

But I have the 3 orings I got from Matt (Truckracer) and the moly paste

How important is it to change the dust seal/thrust washer and where are they as I didnt even notice em at the last 0 ring change

The last spline lube was only 5ooo miles ago

Pistolchamp and Valker especially I would like your opinions because you both have so many miles on your tires.

Should I order a new valve stem also at this time?

I recommend the new valve stem. As to the thrust washer and stuff, I've never replaced mine, so I can't say. Shocked
I am still running my original O-rings...all three of them.

Evan, just check the thrust washer to make sure it's not torn.  It is just a thin piece of plastic (probably nylon) to keep the steel hub from wearing on the aluminum wheel.  If you need one in a hurry I have a couple on the shelf.

I'm on my second car tire, but, the original "O" rings and thrust washer.

I'm happy.

I'm due to re-lube the splines, I went a bit over 15,000 last time and there was a lot of grease left.

The 0 rings, thrust washer and dust seal were all pristine as was the splines in fact the mechanic only sploogied a bit more Guard dog 570 moly paste in there cause he knew I would be angry if he didnt

Althoiugh it had loads of tread life left, the metzler was already showing cupping and ridges at 7000 so it was time to get that tire off. I kept it in case any member has a tire problem near me and needs an emergency rear tire to get home on.

Cant wait for some nice (translation hope it dont rain or snow again this weekend) weather so I can settle on a comfortable tire pressure

I started with 32 and will change it in 2-3 lb increments as I experiment on the local roads and highways.

IT LOOKS WICKED !!!  Thanks Valker for the advise last nite

ANYtime, my Friend. Can't wait to get to visit this summer.
When I'm in KY in June, I'd love to get a chance to come visit, but I'm afraid the 14 straight 12 hour days will interfere with those plans.....Guess it will have to wait for the Black Hills.

Hey Evan, make sure you and momma ride on it the first chance you get so you can find out if the sidewalls are being hit like mine were. Take some right and left long sweepers if possible. If she smells burnt rubber or you see little black specks on your engine, there is a problem.

I miss my car tires but was forced to go back to an E-3 while on a trip.
