It is with great pleasure that I have just signed up for a family membership. I have only owned my Valk a short time, and been a member of this form even shorter. I have found both a pleasure, already. Thanks!:)

I have been registered on this board for awhile, but now I have my official VOIA # 2741, and I'm proud to say I'm a member of the best Valkyrie association I know!!

You and others that join our Family of Valkyrie Owners are very dear to us.  We are a huge Family of Valkyrie Lovers and enjoy the fun and simple things in life, such as socializing with friends and riding our Valks in the countryside.  You and others make it all the more enjoyable and worth the price of admission.  We Thank You at the VOAI for being part of our Family and sharing your rides with us.

Best of Rides and Health to you and yours.

Taz,
Recently paid dues by PayPal, I saw in an earlier post about a membership packet and number.  Is that coming? Also on the posts it has different designations, Newbie, Jr Member, Sr. Member and stars.  Is there somewhere that explains the significance of all this.
Thanks,

Ski, your member packet went out in todays mail.  Sorry for being tardy, I've been on a roadtrip.

The designation of "Newbie" etc. is generated by the software depending on how many posts you have made.  TAZ can tell how to change that I think.

SKI,

Yes,  Cycho was correct in that....

With the new forum software they had new names on which members were more less classified depending on how many post they made.  If someone never hardly post they are Newbies, as they build up their post they move on to Jr. Sr. Full, Hero status.  This has nothing to do with how long they have been registered members just postings.  Just a little title is assigns, nothing more, nothing less.

Hey Dag,

Now I know there are abunch of Valk ownes out there and some good PC800 owners, or Pacific Coast 800 owners out there as I have contacted some over the years and they know their stuff so get either of those groups to join us as they are both welcomed and know some great roads in Europe they can share.  I for one would love to travel over there for acouple weeks and hope the islands and stuff.  To me that would be too awesome......what does it take to rent bikes over there....I know when I went to Europe. .like in germany and austria it did not take much and went riding all the time, rented bikes from petrol stations in austria cheap.

thanks taz

Hi Taz,
I have never rented a bike here at home, but i`ll check the prices.
I rented a Road King in Houston a few months ago, had a ride with some of the Texas VRCC`s.
Are going for a business trip to Houston in January again.

I`ll do some extra advertizing on my web site for VOAI and this board.

Joined today.  Actually, I sort of hate to admit it, but I was unaware that this site was connected to the VOAI.  Very interesting.  I'll say this.  The $25 dues is NOTHING compared to the value of the advice given on this forum.  I appreciate y'all for putting on the forum for our benefit and offering your advice, the shop manuals, etc.  Well just the shop manual download by itself is worth $100 (what I paid for my Shadow shop manual with shipping and tax).  Heck, that will pay for 5 years of membership on this site.  Well worth it.
Thank you guys for what you're doing for the Valkyrie community.

Thank you ohblackwater for your support.  Although the site is owned by the VOAI it is open to everyone and we try to keep it a friendly place.
We'll try to answer any questions you may have about the greatest motorcycle ever built.  Don't hesitate, there is no "dumb" question, we were all new owners at one time.
