Looking at a new set of progressive shocks on eBay and a used Kuryakyn heel/toe shifter. Can anybody provide some advice on these items from a desirability durability standpoint as well as cost new? I can't seem to find the heel / toe shifter listed anywhere to check pricing nor the shocks.
Thanks

I like my Progressive 440s. I got the stock 13" length-they make a lot of different lengths. I can't speak on the shifter.
440s sell for $399 new.huh
I hope this helps a little.

hey VMan: I just took off a heel/ toe shifter on my (99) I/S
I might be looking to sell it. I did not like it when I rode with my wife I had a hard time putting my feet down when stoping so to create more room for my legs i took off the cobra floor boards and the heel/toe shifter I'm prety sure it's a kuryakyn its separate from the floor board and it has a nice finish to them.

Thanks guys for the feedback. The shocks are described as follows:

Progressive suspension shock set 12.5" eye to eye. Part no. PS-4209C, 412 series. Brand new in original box.

This doesn't sound like what you have, maybe I should take a pass?

Keith, this is the URL for the eBay heel / toe shifter I mentioned. Is this what you're talking about?

VMan: it does not. mine is one piece a pivit point in the center.
sorry if its not what your looking for. just thought i'd mention it.
the front part slips over the shifter lever and the rear is just like
the one you see.  well talk to you latter. Cheesy

v man the 412's aren't much better than stock.. the 440's are superior but spendy.  i got the 440's and love the ride.

keith; if you are considering  selling the cobra boards and kick shifter, i'm interested.  you can e-mail me at jemontgomery3@comcast.net with price.  thanks

VMan, I have the Progressive 440 shocks, and I find them to be excellent. I bought the 13" HD shocks, and they are mounted on a 2000 I/S, I am about 260# and ride solo most of the time.
The shifter that Keith mentioned to you sounds like the Rattlebars Kickshift. I have one of them and they are great; I find that very many of the members are useing this one and are very happy with it. I haven't heard anyone who really has used the Kuryakyn unit on a Valk, only on the Wings.
Hope that this helps, 'KC'.
